The library offers materials related to the GED testing service. We have study guides which may be checked out and also a DVD set that covers preparation for the GED exam. We are hoping to begin free prep classes for the public soon.
A DVD educational series is available at the library for students in an Adult Basic Education program. We have the EASY series on our shelves. Part 1: the beginner series, part2: community essentials, and EASY at work service and hospitality are great resources. They include information about the alphabet and numbers, personal interactions, health care, personal finance, job skills, job interviews and much more.
Handbooks, workbooks and other materials for both educators and students are available to be checked out. We also offer a variety of audiovisual materials related to ESL and ELL programming. The library hopes to begin adult ESL education programming soon.
The library computer lab has a classroom area that will be used for adult education computer classes. We also have lots of material on computer education, webpage design and graphic design available to be checked out.
