Mt. Tom Hose House
Built in 1849, Mt. Tom Hose House was Holyoke's first fire station. It was located on Lyman Street and Canal Street. The destruction of this building made way for the construction of the Mt. Tom Engine House in 1886. At the time Olsen created the picture, the site was owned and operated by Pioneer Surface Cleaning. |

Relief Engine House
Olsen reconstructed this drawing from several old photographs. It was built in 1871 on Main Street, near Sargeant Street. The structure was converted to private use when the Holyoke Engine House was erected. It was demolished around 1970. |

Central Fire Station and Engine House
Olsen recreated the front facade of this structure which was built in 1885. It was demolished in 1915. It is the now the present site of the People's Savings Bank at 314 High Street, between Suffolk and Division Street. |

Mt. Tom Engine House
The Mt. Tom Engine House was built in 1887. Like the Mt. Tom Hose House, the building was once owned and operated by Pioneer Surface Cleaning. The building still stands today. |

South Holyoke Engine House
This engine house was built in 1892 on Main Street near Sargeant Street, and remained in use at least through the 1980s. The structure survives to the present day. |

Emerald Hose House
Olsen reconstructed this image from several old photographs. The building was erected on Chestnut Street near Lyman Street in 1883. In 1912 it was demolished to enlarge the William Whiting School playground. |

Elmwood Engine House
Also drawn from an old negative, this engine house was built on South Street in 1891. The tower and upper floor of the structure was subsequently removed. The remainder of the building still exists today. |

Highland Engine House
Olsen drew this building from an old negative. It was built 1884 at the intersection of Hampden Street and Canby Street. There were multiple renovations and additions over the years, until 1977 when it was abandoned and demolished. It is presently the site of a duplex home. |
