Held At The Holyoke Public Library! Sign up today!

Need to brush up on computer basics? Never touched a computer and want to learn more? Have a program you want to learn more about and practice with? Join us for our free basic workshops held at the Holyoke Public Library's computer classroom, on the 3rd floor!

Seats are limited, but we will be hosting a workshop multiple times to make sure everyone can join. If you are having trouble fitting into a scheduled workshop and want to learn the topics or have questions, email our Computer Coordinators at IT@holyokelibrary.org or call them at 413-420-8118 for more information on one-on-one tutoring sessions!

Be Aware of Caller ID Spoofing! Don't hang on, Hang up!

What Is Spoofing?

Spoofing is when a caller deliberately falsifies the information transmitted to your caller ID display to disguise their identity. Scammers often use neighbor spoofing so it appears that an incoming call is from a local number, or from a company or a government agency that you may already know and trust to try to trick you into answering. If you answer, they use scam scripts to steal your money or valuable personal information, which can be used in fraudulent activity.

Please note, that the Holyoke Public Library will not call to ask for information on social security, bank or credit accounts, etc.

If you think you've been the victim of a spoofing scam, you can file a complaint with the FCC.

To renew your existing Library Card...
(1) you can call the Front Desk at 413-420-8101 and confirm some information and the staff will renew your card, (2) you can visit the library and the staff at the Front Desk will renew your library card, or (3) send an email to library@holyoke.org with your library card number, address and phone number, to renew your card.

Computers will shut down 30 minutes before closing time.

IF CITY HALL CLOSES DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER THE HOLYOKE LIBRARY IS ALSO CLOSED.
