The Holyoke Public Library offers a wide range of services and programs to meet the needs of the residents in the community. Librarians are available at the Holyoke History Room, at the Children's Reference Desk and at the Information Desk to provide readers' advisory and reference help.
 

If you wish to request a book be held for you, call Circulation Desk during regular Library service hours. Circulating items will be held for one week and can be picked up at the Circulation Desk in the lobby. You can also reserve materials that are checked out. The reference librarians provide assistance to the patron in retrieving information from book and electronic sources. Questions requiring brief responses are answered by librarians in the Library Reference Department during regular business hours.
