Welcome, Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Holyoke Public Library is a volunteer group that helps support this library. We create activities that bring people to the library. We are friendly ambassadors and advocates for the library. We organize fundraisers and design ornaments that are sold to raise funds.  We recycle used books via an on-going, self-serve Booksale in the Library's lobby.  Funds raised benefit the Library.  We welcome new volunteers, and new ideas about ways to support the library.
To find out what's happening, email friendsofthehpl [at] gmail [dot] com, or visit our BLOG, or follow us on Facebook, or call the Friends Office 413-420-8110 and leave a message.  Come to the meetings of our Board, which are open to all. Meetings are usually planned for the 4th Monday of the month, 5:30-7pm, at the Library.  See the calendar on this library website for details of meetings and events held at the Library.
